The programme will run from the 1st of September 2016 until the 15th of June 2017.
The only break will be for Christmas from 21st of December to 7th of January.
Training takes place every morning from Monday to Friday, focusing obsessively on technical fundamentals – we strongly believe in developing and reinforcing daily the basic skills of the game.
Most of all, we concentrate on first touch and control, accuracy of passing, shooting and finishing techniques. We also assess the level of players overall technical ability and we will prioritise the areas that need to improve.
Our experience tell us that many players get released by their clubs and don’t fulfil their objectives because they don’t have a good game understanding, decision making and/or tactical awareness.
Our metaphor about these “issues” is that to become a professional footballer, players must study football and fully understand what is required. We guide and support the players to learn and apply the tactics of the game through individual sessions, specific theoretical, practical lessons and video analysis.
The MV8 Football Academy believes this is the most important area. We have designed a Method that will focus on Player’s Personal Development, both as a player and as a person. We will transmit the passion, enthusiasm and perseverance to our players. We believe that if you love what you do, you will stop at nothing to achieve your goals.
The Method includes a daily routine where the players can work on their:
Mental approach toward training and games
Developing a strong concentration
Developing a strong inner motivation
Developing a hard work mentality attitude
By training 7 times per week, naturally the fitness level of the players will improve.
An MV8 Fitness Coach individually follows and creates programmes for each player so they can train specifically on their most important areas.
We also undertake regularly fitness tests, assessing the players level and therefore being able to see objectively their improvement.
